PICTURE PERFECT PUPPIES

Puppy Meal Routine

While every little one is unique, establishing a consistent daily meal routine based on their age is very helpful. As they grow older, their meal frequency will naturally decrease.

8-12 WEEK OLD MEAL SCHEDULE

When your new companion is fully transitioned to solid meals, you can offer them soft options like premium canned puppy meals. You can also introduce dry kibble by mixing it with wet food or softening it with warm water until they are a bit older. The main goal is to ensure they are enjoying their meals, so you can occasionally mix in safe, tasty treats if they need a little encouragement.

During this rapid growth phase, they need plenty of energy! We recommend offering meals 3 to 4 times a day. Their little tummies do best with smaller, more frequent portions to aid digestion.

A small evening snack can help them stay comfortable until morning. Keeping their tummy satisfied is the best way to keep them happy and thriving.

Stick with that same routine until they are about 3 months old.

Below is an example of a meal schedule for 8-12 week old companions.

Not only will this schedule help with creating a routine, but it will help you work on outdoor training!
